Slack 开发者 Felix Rieseberg 将 Mac OS 8.1 打包成了一个应用程序，里面甚至包含了许多应用程序和游戏。
Rieseberg 已经成功地让 Duke Nukem 3D 、Civilization II 、Dungeons & Dragons 、Namely 、Oregon Trail 、Alley 19 Bowling 和 Damage Incorporated 等经典游戏运行起来。甚至还预装了一堆应用程序，包括 Photoshop 3 、Premiere 4 、Illustrator 5.5 、StuffIt Expander 和苹果的网页建设工具包。
虽然该应用也预装了 Internet Explorer 和 Netscape 浏览器，但由于版本太老，Rieseberg 说 “连 Google 都打不开”。90 年代版本的 Mac OS 被移植到 JavaScript 中运行。
